A website for an architectural lighting consultancy in Dubai

The client is an architectural lighting consultancy in Dubai. It designs, specifies and supplies lighting and control systems for private homes across the UAE, and supports installation on site.

Before the project, the consultancy had a single page made with GoDaddy's website builder. It had no page descriptions, no structured information for search engines, and nothing that would help it appear in search results or in answers from AI assistants.

A new website covering the practice's background, video walkthroughs of completed homes, its areas of work and an enquiry form. The design pairs Latin and Arabic typefaces so the brand name appears in both scripts.

An interactive section lets visitors try two lighting decisions for themselves. The first is a slider that shows the same living room at colour temperatures from 2200K to 6500K. The second shows how 10°, 24°, 38° and 60° beams from the same fixture light a wall, with the beam diameter and light level at floor height for a 2.4 m ceiling.

The enquiry form asks whether the visitor is a homeowner, architect, interior designer or contractor, so each enquiry arrives with that context. A company profile is available to download as a PDF.

We moved the site from GoDaddy to Netlify and later to Azure. When we moved the domain's DNS, we re-created all 15 existing records, including the Microsoft 365 records for email (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC), and fixed a connection error on the bare domain.

Every page now has a descriptive title, a meta description, a canonical address and a social sharing image, so links show a proper preview when shared. Content Security Policy headers, a hidden honeypot field on the form and input handling protect the site and its enquiries.
